The Director of Meteorological Center and Senior Meteorologist Vikram Singh said that there will a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar, and Haridwar within 24 hours. In the wake of heavy rains, there is a need to be very cautious in terms of disaster management.
According to Singh, due to the formation of a low-pressure area with the activation of the cyclone in Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand is expected to receive rain for three days from the plain to the mountain. After three days, there will be some relief from the rain as the cyclone moves from the Bihar side.
