The Uttarakhand government has amended the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of Covid Curfew. According to the amendment, permission has been given to open some shops including utensils, hosiery, electronics two days a week during the Kovid curfew. The government had to make this amendment under the pressure of traders.

On Monday, a delegation of the State Industry Trade Committee, led by state treasurer Puneet Mittal, met government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal and demanded that some more shops be opened.

He said that after the rate of infection has come down, now shops should be allowed to open. After the assurance of Uniyal, Chief Executive Officer of Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority, Chief Secretary Om Prakash, amended the SOP and issued orders on Monday evening.

These shops will also open on 8th and 11th June

According to the amended order, utensils, hosiery, electronics, electricals, electronics parts, computer hardware and software, web designing, hardware paints, sanitary, stone (marble chips), carpenter, furniture And the shops of Timber Merchants will open at eight in the morning till one in the afternoon.

Loading and unloading as before

The government has allowed all goods vehicles to load or unload material as before. All wholesalers and retailers will be allowed to load or unload goods in the godowns of the shops 24 hours a day, seven days a day.

These systems will remain in force as before.

1. RTPCR negative report necessary for going to hill districts.

4. No RTPCR required for travel between Garhwal and Kumaon, online registration required.
5. Government ration shops will open daily from 8 am to 12 noon. At the same time, stationery shops, general stores and grocery shops will open from 8 am to 1 pm on Wednesday (June 09) and Monday (June 14).
6. The liquor shops will open three days a week on Wednesday (June 09), Friday (June 11) and Monday (June 14) from 8 am to 1 pm. All the bars will remain closed till further orders.
