Gautam Adani will buy this company: Adani Logistics, a subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited, has shared this information. It was told on behalf of the company that it has entered into an agreement of Rs 835 crore with Navkar Corp for the acquisition of ICD Tumb.
According to a report, ICD Tumb is included in the largest inland container depot. It has a capacity of 0.5 million or 5 million TEUs. The ICD is strategically located between Hazira Port and Nhava Sheva Port. The company said that this deal will be helpful to increase capacity and cargo in the future. The company said Tumb ICD has a private freight terminal with four rail handling lines attached to the Western DFC.

Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), said about this deal that the acquisition of Tumb, one of the largest ICDs in the country, will give strength to our plans. This acquisition will complement our transformation strategy of becoming a transport utility and move us closer to our objective of providing economical door-to-door services to our customers, he added.
