Mega Vaccination Day is being celebrated on Saturday on the instructions of Uttarakhand Government. Under this, 30,000 people are being vaccinated against corona in Dehradun district. The campaign was launched by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Health Minister. This campaign is going on in Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Vaccination Center, Tyagi Road Rest Camp.
In this, people in the age group of 18 to 44 years are being vaccinated. People can reach for vaccination by booking online slots at this center. District Immunization Officer Dr. Sudhir Kumar Pandey informed that at least 200 people are proposed to be vaccinated at each vaccination booth of the district on Saturday.
Preparations complete for mega vaccination campaign
District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Upreti said that on the instructions of Directorate General of Health, vaccination was not done in the district on Friday. Dr. Upreti informed that preparations for Saturday's mega vaccination were completed on Friday itself. The Health Department is ready to meet the target.
Vaccination stopped without notice, people remain upset
At the same time, vaccination was stopped on Friday without any prior information. Due to lack of information, many people came to get the corona vaccine, but they had to return disappointed. Officials said that a big campaign of vaccination is being conducted in the district on Saturday. So the vaccination could not be done on Friday.
