166 lost phones worth 20 lakh rupees recovered from seven states but no one stole
The Haldwani Police of Uttarakhand is under question in the matter of recovering 166 mobiles worth about 20 lakh rupees and giving them to the people
The Haldwani Police of Uttarakhand is under question in the matter of recovering 166 mobiles worth about 20 lakh rupees and giving them to the people. In the case of mobile seizure, the police seems to be caught in their own script. How the mobile reached the seven states from where police have claimed to recovered these, who took it , the police have no answer to these questions. In the press conference of the police on Tuesday, the big question was also why the people from whom the mobiles were recovered were not caught. There is confusion in the story.
It is not clear how the police got the mobile
Police claim that an inspector and two constables were engaged in searching the mobile, but in four months it is being said that recovery is being done from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana city of Hyderabad and other cities. It takes six to eight days to recover these.
Police praising their own
SP City Dr. Jagdish Chandra told in the press conference that 682 mobiles lost in four months were put on surveillance. Out of which 166 mobiles have been recovered whose price is around 20 lakh 30 thousand rupees.
Why were the mobiles sent to other states
Mobiles lost or stolen in the city were sent to other states. The question is, who are these people and why are they sending mobiles to others states after stealing these from the city. Why did the police not reach these people till now? And why no information about the people who got the mobile.
Are these mobiles picked up from the road ?
SP City said that mobiles have been recovered from outside states, but no arrest has been made. It looks as if someone put the mobile on the road and the police picked it up. That's how one should have thought while writing the screenplay.
