12 major decisions have been taken in the Uttarakhand cabinet meeting. Let us make you aware of these decisions through 12 points.

 

1- In view of Covid, 02 kg sugar per ration card will be given at the rate of Rs 25 / kg for 03 months (June, July, August) under the National and State Food Scheme.

2- An amount of Rs. 01 crore was given to the MLAs for Covid. The limit of expenditure of 25 lakhs in remote areas has been removed, which will help in getting medical facilities in remote areas. Apart from this, exemption of Procurement Rules to be given to the Health Department will also apply to this.

3- Technical testing approval for work up to Rs. 2 crores in water life mission will now be allowed through district-level review instead of governance.

4- Under the revised proposal Hemkund Saheb, Ghangharia, Lokpal temple under the eco-sensitive zone of the valley of flowers will be declared as a non-populated area, the proposal will be sent again to the Government of India.

5- Under the Noise Pollution Regulation Control Act 2000, fines will be levied in various areas of the state in residential, industrial, commercial, and quiet areas. Under this, a fine of 1 thousand will be taken for the first violation from the Individual, 5 thousand from the entertainment operator, 10 thousand from the hotel operator, and 20 thousand from Industrial miners.

6- Eco Park, Narendra Nagar, Muni ki Reti, will be run on the social model. Himalayan Ecology Reforms Biodiversity Livelihood Promotion Institute (Herbal) will be the governing body whose chief guardian will be the Chief Minister, Forest Minister will be the guardian and the regional MLA will be the co-patron. Apart from this, the Chief Conservator of the Managing Committee, Additional Chief Secretary and ex-officio Chairman, Head of the Department of Forests and the Chief Conservator of Forests and Forest Officer, Public Representative will be its members.

7- Service rules of Revenue Council, Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer were promulgated.

8- The vacant land of the old tehsil in Ramnagar will be given free of cost for the construction of multi-story parking.

9- Under the Central Assistance Scheme in the ratio of 90:10, the technical cost of the construction work for Haridwar Medical College to be built in Jagjitpur has been increased to Rs. 538.40 crore. For this, 25 crores has been released by the Central Government, the proportion will increase by the state.

10- Financial and administrative powers will be given to the Principal who works on a contract basis in Haridwar, Pithoragarh, Rudrapur Medical College with the intention that the joint signature of the Finance Controller will be with them.

11- The MRI machine to be given to Mela Hospital Haridwar has been allowed to be brought from Delhi but first Central Government permission needs to be obtained.

12- Swami Vivekananda Health Society will be exempted from stamp duty to purchase 2.4 hectares of land in the National Health Mission Bhatwadi. The amount of which is 12 lakh 68 thousand 750.
